Mt.Rushmore
After tackling the Badlands, we head near Keystone South Dakota for the great sight of Mt. Rushmore. This amazing Park has four presidents that were hand carved out of rock. Some of the tools were mining equipment, chisels, and lots of dynamite. It took 14 years to make these bad boys and it was finally established in the year of 1941. There is lots of things to do at the park such as games, visit the Jewel Cave National Monument, walk around and read the informational cards they have set up around the park, and admire the amazing sculpture. Lots of people visit the park, a total of 3.1 million adults and children experience it every year. There are places off site to stay but there is only onsite lodging for special people. The fee for Mt. Rushmore is $10 and a car load is $25 which the car load is usually a way better deal.
